The location is central to the US for meeting everyone in the middle, with RDU and RIC airports with a 1 1/2-hour drive. The Virginia mountains are within a couple hours' drive, offering trails and caverns for exploring for the adventurous guest. Perched on over a half-acre, at Cricket’s Cove you’ll feel secluded and tucked away with wooded privacy in the front yard, and an expansive backyard with great views of the dock and the lake! Over 2,600 square feet of living space is spread across two floors, with four bedrooms and two full baths for your use. Property features a great dock at the boathouse with ladder for ease exiting the water after a swim, and plenty of parking for Guests--even room for storing your boat trailer during your stay. Two kayaks and one SUP (stand-up paddle board) are stored by the walk-in shoreline! The firepit is out in the lakeside yard, equipped with Adirondack chairs for your comfort and enjoyment! You will have a blast here at Cricket’s Cove!

Property features a fully equipped kitchen, two living spaces (full upstairs and downstairs basement), dock, furnished porch, deck and beautiful views of Pea Hill Creek! Recreation room is equipped with a Pool Table, board games, flat screen TV, DVD’s and X-box for your entertainment.
Summer bookings are Saturday-Saturdayunless by prior arrangement. Off-season rates are 4-day minimum, until the Memorial Day weekend opens our summer season each year.

If the property is ready earlier than 4:00 PM, we will contact you. There is no extra charge for an early check-in, when available. Our properties have remote access and codes will be provided 3 days before check-in via e-mail, so there is no need to pick up a key. You can check in at your convenience.
CHECK OUT: 10:00 AM EST
CANCELLATION POLICY:
Bookings cancelled at least 60 days before arrival will receive a 100% refund, minus any non-refundable service fees. Bookings cancelled 30 days before arrival will receive a 50% refund, minus any non-refundable service fees. Any bookings cancelled within 30 days of your arrival are non-refundable.
PETS:
This is a dog-friendly property with deposits. A maximum of 2 dogs are allowed with prior approval and a pet fee. Dogs must be at least one year old, up to date on all vaccinations, and up to date on flea and tick medication. All waste must be cleaned up from the property.
SMOKING:
Smoking is not permitted inside the property. Any evidence of smoking inside the property will result in a remediation fee charged to your credit card on file. If you smoke outside, it must be away from the home to avoid the smell entering the home and you must clean up all butts.
VERY IMPORTANT:
Every home is on SEPTIC, not sewer…nothing down the toilet or sinks except water, human waste, & TP. No grease, feminine products, etc. This will ruin a vacation and if said products found to correct a septic issue, the renter will be charged to clean the septic.
AC (Air Conditioning):
Please do not set your AC below 70, especially during hot summer days, if the AC freezes up during your stay and the thermostat was below 70, you will be charged for repair.
