Great communication and assistance through our planning and stay! We couldnt ask for more from this property. It has everything our family needs to be happy and comfortable.

Pointe Realty was easy to work with and quick to respond to any issues that we had to make sure that our stay was perfect. They made the check-in process smooth and painless. The home was absolutely beautiful with every amenity needed for my family to enjoy. It was spacious, clean, and the location was perfect. The lake was only a few feet away from the home, and everything needed to enjoy the water was provided by the homeowner. The lake views were perfect, especially watching the sunsets from the coziness of the dock or from the 2nd-floor balcony. We thoroughly enjoyed the game room in the evenings to continue the family fun. This home has it all. I would definitely recommend it.

The house was fantastic. Clean, so many things left for us to use in the kitchen, beautiful view and great dock!

Lakin Memories was the best! The house was well appointed, everything it promised to be and more. We didnt always have great weather during our stay, but there were so many non-water activities (like billiards, board games, fitness gym) that we were able to have fun every single day. When the weather did cooperatewe enjoyed kayaking, paddle boarding, fishing, and just floating around. Our family of 14 had plenty of room to spread out, and were already talking about going back next year!!

Hannah was wonderful to work with and went above and beyond to add extra special touches; a note for our 2-year-old granddaughter from her Elf on the Shelf, "Rudy", along with a book, reindeer food, Christmas tree, and other Christmas/Holiday decorations for our family Christmas gathering. We have already told several friends and so have out kids that this is a great place for a gathering at Christmas OR any time of year. We hope to be back at some point in the summer to experience all the outdoor activities offered at The Cabin. The kitchen was so well stocked with cooking items, glassware, and dishes!

Wonderful place to get away from city noise and crowds. It is a quick and easy 3 hour trip from Northern Virginia suburbs, but transports the guest to a completely different world of woods, ponds and pasture. The house is immaculate, spacious, and comfortable, with plenty of bedrooms, large bathrooms, and a fully equipped kitchen, and is a great base from which to head out for hiking, hunting, and fishing on the large but well-maintained property.

This house is in a great location with a huge yard. The inside has updated furniture, everything you would need in the kitchen, and kept very clean. The rooms and bathrooms are oversized and everything looks brand new! We enjoyed fires by the lake and a short trip by boat to a great restaurant, The Pointe. The owners did a great job on making this the perfect vacation spot and still feel homey. We will definitely be back!

The Cabin at Lake Gaston was the perfect place for our family reunion. The many bedrooms were ample sleeping space for adults and kids (the kids love the bunk!). The large vaulted family room and stocked kitchen made for easy socializing and entertaining. The party dock and fire pit were a highlight for our family. You also cannot beat this location as it is on a point surrounded by lakefront and a short drove to the local beach or winery. Cant wait to come back next year!

I loved the views from the back deck and screened porch - waking up to beautiful views of the lake, and sitting out in the evenings enjoying the breeze off the water. It was great for my kids to be able to just walk outside and enjoy swimming in the lake and jumping off the 2-story dock! We wanted a lakefront property with the perfect setup for our multi-family group. It was great to have the space downstairs for the kids to get away and have their own fun place to be. Highly recommend renting a boat and enjoying the lake, maybe going to one of the lakeside restaurants for dinner or lunch one day. We've continued to return to this same house year after year for the past 4 summers. Our family loves it!

We absolutely fell in love with this house...the perfect floor plans to have adults gathering upstairs and kids happy downstairs playing foosball. Tons of room for them and their own kitchen!! The pictures do not do the VIEW from the living room and screen room justice. Its breathtaking - I could sit there all day. Great location on the lake and my kids loved challenging themselves to jump off the boat house! Highly recommend- we will be back!! Quick drive from Raleigh and a quick boat ride to the Pointe restaurant. Overall excellent experience!

This is a beautiful home! It is so peaceful to sit on the back porch and look out at the lake. The kids had so much fun on the 2-story boat dock and swimming in the lake. They also loved the downstairs TV and foosball table. The home is well appointed and inviting. You will love your stay here!

It's as listed, a studio with two futons. They were comfortable enough for my stay.
