What’s Happening Around the Lake?
Live Music at The Pointe at Lake Gaston – January 26, February 2, 9, 16, 23
One of our favorite lake spots is The Pointe at Lake Gaston. Make sure you are following them on Facebook to see their chef specials, live music events, and more. DJ Grace is there on January 26, followed by DJ Alex on February 2, and Jason Smith on February 9.
Parmalee at Roanoke Rapids Theatre – January 26
Tickets are on sale to see Parmalee at Roanoke Rapids Theatre on Friday, January 26 at 7 p.m. Doors open at 5 p.m.
Lake Gaston Chamber of Commerce Annual Meeting – January 31 (Sold Out, Taking Names for Wait List)
These year’s event is being held at the Lakeland Cultural Arts Center on Thursday, January 31, starting at 6 p.m. They are currently at maximum capacity but you can call 252-586-5711 to be added to the waitlist. The event will begin with a social hour and silent auction at 6 p.m., followed by dinner, the program, and awards starting at 7 p.m. Enjoy live music from Acoustic Edge and dinner from Southern Smokin’ BBQ.

Don‘t miss WMG’s return visit to Kahill’s! WMG has opened shows for ZZ Top, Eddie Money, Styx, Leon Russell, Aaron Neville, Buddy Guy, Toad the Wet Sprocket, Sixpence None the Richer, and remains in demand throughout North Carolina and Virginia.

Brunswick County Agriculture and Timber Conference – February 19
The conference will take place at Brunswick County Conference Center in Lawrenceville on February 19 from 9 a.m. until 3:30 p.m.
