Had to take some long trips this past week in rough water to get on them, but it was worth it to say the least! Incredible fishing and quite a few at 30+ pounds with 4 of them being on the first drift back to back! This time of year in particular, don’t be afraid to keep moving. Blue Cat’s move a lot, if you are afraid to move up and down the body of water you are fishing through out the year, you’re making a big mistake!
Slow fishing on one end of the lake the last few days, so it was time to venture to another part of the lake, and it ended up paying off. Really nice having a boat that can get wherever I need to go without wasting a lot of fishing time!
Found a little bit of shallow water action as well…..
Been some frustrating conditions for me the last few weeks, the weather has been very erratic and the patterns have been changing daily. Fortunately I managed to find a couple of good fish this weekend for my clients and quite a “eaters” for them as well. Water temperature is finally hitting 60 degrees in parts of the lake again also, I am hoping for more consistent fishing coming up.
